Role Location and Employment Type

CSBS is currently seeking two part time employees to support two male participants located in Crestmead from 7:00am to 11:00am Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend backfill required).

You will be required to assist participants with their daily support and personal care needs. Both participants have expressed a preference to be supported by experienced female support staff, ideally with an nursing background.

Essential Requirements

  • Expectation stakeholder management skills to engage and work collaboratively with all key persons in the participant’s life, support network and community to ensure the two gentlemen receive supports the way they want them.
    Work in a team environment and 1:1 with the Participant autonomously with minimal supervision.
    Positively support the participants, manage their behaviours, and achieve their goals identified within Participant’s NDIS plans.
    Hold or willing to obtain a current Criminal History Screening – Prescribed Notice (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
    A current open Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance and the willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes.
    First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to gain and maintain these.

Highly Desirable for this role 

  • You can commence immediately.
    You have a nursing background.
  • You are familiar with the NDIS.
    Experiencing providing a variety of supports and skills including but not limited to; pressure wound management, stoma care, incontinence support, manual handling, and hoist lifting.
    Provide supports that exemplify CSBS values and brings energy into our practice standards, quality system and internal and external codes of conduct.
